This April 10–15, Scott and I will be traveling to Antwerp, Belgium — widely known as the diamond cutting and trading capital of the world — to personally select diamonds for our store and our customers.
For more than five centuries, Antwerp has stood at the center of the global diamond industry. Today, the majority of the world’s rough and polished diamonds pass through this remarkable city. Within the Antwerp Diamond District, generations of diamond families continue a tradition built on precision, integrity, and long-standing relationships.

Antwerp is not simply a place where diamonds are sold. It is where they are evaluated, sorted, cut, and traded at the highest level. It is where expertise truly matters. And it is where a trained eye — developed through decades of experience — makes all the difference.
For many years, Scott has traveled to Antwerp to personally view and select diamonds. He makes this journey twice a year, maintaining relationships that allow us access to exceptional stones. It has been quite some time since he has taken someone outside the family along on one of these trips, and I am incredibly honored (and excited!) to experience the diamond offices firsthand.
There is something powerful about standing at the source — about seeing diamonds before they ever reach the broader market. When we hand-select stones in Antwerp, we are not choosing from what is left over. We are choosing from what is newly available. We are evaluating brilliance, proportion, and character in person. We are selecting with intention.
One of the most remarkable parts of many of our Antwerp selections is the traceability.
In many cases, we receive the original parcel paper that housed the rough diamond when it was first taken from the earth. That paper often includes the location of origin and the weight of the rough stone. The diamond then travels — in that very parcel paper — to Antwerp to be cut and polished. As it passes through the cutter and polisher, each professional marks the paper as it moves through their care.
You can quite literally trace the steps of your diamond — from the earth, to Antwerp, to your ring.
For customers who value transparency, provenance, and responsible sourcing, this is deeply meaningful. It transforms a beautiful gemstone into a documented journey.

For our customers, this opportunity is incredibly special.
It means your engagement diamond can be chosen in the very place where the world’s finest stones are first traded.
It means your anniversary upgrade can be evaluated and selected with your specific goals in mind.
It means even a “just because” diamond can be sourced thoughtfully and personally.
This April trip gives us a focused window to look for something specific on your behalf. If you have an engagement, anniversary, birthday, or milestone coming up this year, we would love to begin that conversation now.
For this trip, we’ll be selecting diamonds April 10–15, and we encourage you to reach out by April 9 if you’d like us to keep an eye out for something specific while we’re there.
And even beyond this trip, Antwerp sourcing is always part of our story. Because Scott travels there twice a year, we can continue these conversations at any time.
Over the next several weeks, I will be sharing more about what this trip means, how diamond buying in Antwerp works, and what it’s like to step inside the offices where these remarkable stones begin their journey. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram.
Antwerp is coming… and we can’t wait to bring you along.
