 Scott is the third generation owner and manager of Stambaugh Jewelers. He and his wife, Audrey, oversee the day-to-day operations at the store. Scott is currently pursuing his Graduate Gemologist (GG) Degree through the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and has already earned his Diamonds, Diamond Grading, Colored Stones, Pearls and Gem Identification certifications. Twice a year, Scott travels to Antwerp, Belgium, to hand-select diamonds for our customers. Scott's passion for the jewelry business and his involvement in the community contribute to the continued success and fine reputation of Stambaugh Jewelers. Audrey cherishes finding the perfect piece of jewelry for her customers.Her unique blend of style, zest for life and love of jewelry gives our customers a refreshing and pleasant experience. Audrey enjoys working in the family business and helping Scott to excel. When Scott and Audrey aren't at the store, they enjoy running marathons and snow and water skiing with their twin girls.

 Doug has been fabricating and repairing jewelry for Stambaugh Jewelers’ customers for more than 23 years. He has completed various courses through GIA and most recently has become certified in the operation of the Crawford Laser for jewelry fabrication and repair. Doug’s expertise and attention to detail will delight you. For all your repairs and redesigning needs, trust Doug with your jewelry treasures.When he isn't working on jewelry, Doug takes great pleasure in remodeling his historic home, tinkering in his workshop and cycling.

 Katie has earned a Diamonds and Diamond Grading Degree through GIA as well as completing the Accredited Jewelry Professional Program. She enjoys building relationships with her customers and can help you find exactly what you're looking for. She is able to guide her customers through the newest styles to find a perfect fit for any occasion.Pearl and bead stringing and custom engraving are two of Katie's many talents. Katie and her husband, Ed, enjoy the outdoors and treasure time with their daughter and two dogs.

 Nina, an Accredited Jewelry Professional, earned her degree through GIA in June of 2007. Nina's warm demeanor will make you feel welcome and confident in your purchase. When she's not in the store, Nina enjoys teaching children's drama and spending time with her husband, Rick, and their son.

Laura, the newest member to our team, grew up in Defiance and started with Stambaugh Jewelers in August 2007. She brings with her an excellent background in customer service as well as her upbeat attitude and outgoing personality.
Laura recently started her Accredited Jewelry Professional program through the Gemological Institute of America. GIA is an independent, nonprofit organization, recognized as the world’s foremost authority in gemology. This education program, designed for aspiring jewelry sales professionals, consists of courses that focus exclusively on essential diamond and gemstone product knowledge.
When Laura is not at work, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Brad, her family and her three dogs. Laura and Brad also like to spend time outdoors golfing and skydiving.
